Miranda Letten, Performer

Miranda Letten graduated with a 1st class Hons degree in contemporary dance From London Contemporary Dance School, 2007 – 2010. Post her degree Miranda got the opportunity to become a Punchdrunk apprentice. Over that time she got to be part of the creation process and performances of Punchdrunk’s and the English National Opera’s “The Dutchess of Malfi”. Since then she has worked Performing for Punchdrunk and various other projects involving site specific dance, improvisation, physical theatre, voice, and contact work.

Miranda is also a keen choreographer. She was a winner at the London Contemporary Dance Competition 2009 for her work “Hot Cassablancan Breakfasts” a Collaboration with video artist Ben Perry.  she has also collaborated with composer Nick Scott on an Original composition for piano, violin and  sounds from the dancer’s voices called “The Silent Musician” Performed at Guildhall and The Place theatre.  She is very interested in film and mix media works and is developing her skills in making video dance.
